Copper Star's Woodrow F Call LD

About LD

Woodrow has always been my main jack here at Triple A Minis, and I had so many dreams for his future even in getting a 2nd jack to keep their jenny foals to create my perfect herd, but I have had to make some very hard decisions in selling my donkeys & horses. I purchased Woodrow from Copper Star farms (USA) when he was a weanling, and he soon became my special buddy. He is a stocky, heavy boned, well put together jack, he has produced nothing but perfect conformation foals of all colors, spotted, wooly, semi wooly, & normal coat depending on who you bred him to. Woodrow carries one old Poitou long hair gene, 1 red gene and is homozygous for NLP. Woodrow knows his job and can get very excited about the situation, so I normally put a muzzle on him at first introduction till they all settle down. Then he is a gentleman around the girls, and the girls rule the roost. The last couple years Woodrow has not had year-round Jenny company, and there was a 2nd Jack introduced here, so he paced a lot. I believe he should have company to settle him and would not pace if there wasn’t a second jack around or possibly had year-round company such as jennys. He loves being groomed and snores with pleasure. He also likes to nudge people for attention! I have truly enjoyed & loved Woodrow it has been very hard in letting any of them go.
